“We are extremely pleased with the new product and its capabilities, said Spectrum Aeromed Vice President of International Sales Horst Heinicke. “The first production unit is permanently installed in a Boeing 777, but certain modular design features allow us the flexible integration into a wide range of different aircraft and applications.”

Following Spectrum Aeromed´s principles, the new 3200-System quickly attaches into standard aircraft seat tracks. A modular concept allows fast conversion times, where the unit is not installed permanently. Equipment pull-outs, storage drawers, integrated or movable stretcher, and a wide range of medical devices can be customized to meet specific mission profiles.

“Apart from the advantage of higher solidity at a lower system weight, the beauty of this new PTU is that it very nicely fits into the contour and appearance of a modern designed aircraft interior. Plain surfaces ensure easy cleaning/disinfection and the open overhead structure allows changes in various medical devices for future system upgrades.”

“Our customers all over the world operate a diverse array of aircraft,” said Spectrum Aeromed COO Chad Kost. “With both the 2800 series and now the 3200-Series solution we can equip small, medium and large aircraft with state-of-the-art carbon fiber PTU´s that will help them quickly turn VIP aircraft into emergency air ambulances for medical transport. We are thrilled to introduce this to the market and are pleased that orders are already being taken because of our 25 plus year history of introducing innovative, reliable and rugged systems to the market. Our customers know that we spend countless hours of research and development to assure the products we produce provide the best quality and value available to the market.”
