Air Austral temporarily suspends flights from Reunion to Canton

Posted 30 January 2020 · Add Comment

In light of the coronavirus situation in China, Air Austral has decided to suspend its flights to and from Canton from 8 February to 1 March.

The airline has been closely monitoring the situation with ARS (French regional health authority) and will decide mid-February if this temporary measure is to be extended.

To date, the ARS and WHO have not issued international travel restrictions; given the evolution of the virus, only preventative information is being issued to passengers.
