The move follows a declaration by the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority (LyCAA) reopening Benghazi to medevac and cargo flights.

In a statement, the carrier said it had operated its first cargo service to Benghazi four years after the outbreak of civil war. Service was onboard the carrier's only A300-600 and, according to Flightradar24 ADS-B data, was routed Tripoli Mitiga to Benghazi and onwards to Amman Queen Alia and return. It is uncertain if the service is to operate on a scheduled basis or if this flight was a one-off.
