Afra Airways to launch this year
Afra Airways plans to begin passenger operations later this year.
CEO Manuel Pereira told ch-aviation that as well as passenger operations, the carrier will also offer medevac services on a Cessna Citation before acquiring two B737s and either a Dash 8-400 or a ERJ-145.
The carrier has secured its Air Services License from the Burundian government and is now looking to secure its AOC.
