South African Airways leasing in ERJ-145 metal
South African Airways has wet-leased in ERJ-145 metal from fellow South African operator and ACMI specialist, Solenta Aviation, report ch-aviation.
The Embraer Regional Jets are currently used on flights from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo to Kasane, Nelspruit, and Skukuza; from Durban King Shaka to Cape Town, East London, and Port Elizabeth; and from Nelspruit to Livingstone in Zambia.
The contract began on November 13 and is scheduled to run until January 6, 2017
