The airline said today that all fares will be halved for travel between Saturday, January 17 and Wednesday, January 21 so that voters can reach polling stations for Tuesday’s election.
The special offer applies to return fares on all of Proflight’s domestic destinations: Lusaka, Livingstone, Mfuwe, Ndola, Solwezi, Kasama, Mansa and Chipata.
“Proflight Zambia is playing its part in providing a service in the national interest to ensure voters are able to cast their votes and maintain our country’s excellent reputation for democratic governance,” said Proflight director of government and industry affairs Captain Philip Lemba.
“Election Day on Tuesday, January 20, has been declared a public holiday offering an additional incentive for people to travel back to their home districts and combine their vOting rights with an opportunity to visit family and friends,” the airline spokesman said.
The fares can be booked at www.flyzambia.com by selecting the lowest fare on the days of travel required and then inputting the promotional code VOTE15 in the promo code box to the left of the screen.
