Fly Blue Crane international operations to launch this month
Fly Blue Crane will inaugurate international operations on 13th May, with scheduled return flights between Cape Town and Windhoek International.
The carrier has applied for rights to serve Swaziland, Mozambique, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, La Reunion, Seychelles, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
“The time was right for us to introduce this route in the light of the growing tourism and business ties between the two countries, as well as the fact that many people travelling to the region want to combine South Africa and Namibia," said Fly Blue Crane, chief commercial officer, Theunis Potgieter.
Fly Blue Crane operates its routes with two ERJ-145LRs, connecting Cape Town, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo, Bloemfontein and Kimberley.
