FevIR Scan helps prevent spread of Ebola in Nigeria

FevIR Scan is currently being deployed to help in the fight against the spread of Ebola in Nigeria.

The FevIR Scan Fever Screening System from British company Thermoteknix Systems Ltd is a skin temperature measurement system for mass screening of high pedestrian areas such as airports, train stations, factories, office buildings and other public places.

The miniature, discreet and ultra portable FevIR Scan Skin Temperature Monitoring system provides peace of mind with high speed sensitive temperature measurement for high volume pedestrian transit areas.

The system is based on a Thermoteknix thermal imaging camera working in conjunction with a blackbody calibration unit for high accuracy temperature measurement: 9Hz systems are available.

FevIR Scan Fever Screening System is a tried and tested screening system which has been in operation throughout the SARS, Bird Flu, Swine Flu and H5N1 virus outbreaks. It is operational in numerous countries including UK, Thailand, Mauritius, Angola and in Mexico. Now three Thermoteknix FevIR Scan systems are on their way to Nigeria in response to the current Ebola emergency.
