EgyptAir sign cooperation protocol with the Children's Cancer Hospital in Egypt

EgyptAir as signed a cooperation protocol with the Children's Cancer Hospital in Egypt ((CCHE 57357).

The agreement stipulates that EGYPTAIR will be the official carrier of Science and Knowledge through transporting physicians coming from Nile-Basin Countries to Cairo to exchange knowledge and experience in field of oncology for serving children in the African continent. This initiative came in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the framework of Egypt’s leading role in Africa. 

The signing ceremony was attended by Egyptian ministers, Capt. Sameh el-Hefny, the chairman of EgyptAirHolding Company, Ashraf Zaghloul, the Secretary-General of 57357, Sherif Abul Naga, the executive manager of 57353 Group for Education, Scientific Research, Strategies and Foreign Affairs, civil aviation representatives, as well as media personnel. 

The protocol was signed by Capt. Hisham el-Nahas, the chairman of Egypt Airlines and Mahmoud el-Tohamy, the CEO of 57357 Hospital. 

“Egypt’s flag carrier has been always a strong support for all institutions and bodies that work on the development of Egypt and maintain its progress in various fields,” said Capt. Sameh el-Hefny, CEO and Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company. He added that social responsibility is on top EgyptAir agenda and among its priorities. 

“The protocol between the two parties will allow the hospital to gain free tickets for the transportation of medical delegates for the next four years; also EgyptAir has come up with a new means through which Frequent Flyer Program members can donate for 57357 Hospital via the extra miles they acquire through their ongoing EgyptAir flights,” el-Hefny added. 

On his part, Dr Sherif Abul Naga, the executive manager of 57353 Group for Education, Scientific Research, Strategies and Foreign Affairs, has expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation for EgyptAir role in encouraging 57357 hospital’s activities since the beginning of their cooperation that back dated in 2008. 

He added that the national carrier has provided many different travel services and necessary facilities for the hospital and physicians who deal with it worldwide, in addition to shipping and transport services and other medical requirements. The company had made several contributions to the hospital before this protocol through arranging tours to CCHE Hospital paid by EgyptAir cabin crews, pilots and employees, or rather hosting CCHE Children for tours inside the National carrier headquarters.
