ECAIR Congo resumes domestic flights

ECAIR Congo has resumed scheduled domestic flights following a three-month break, reports ch-aviation.

The carrier commenced thrice weekly Brazzaville-Pointe Noire flights from October 3.

Service is on-board one of its two B757-200s, wet-leased from PrivatAir, while it awaits the return of its B737 fleet. Its two B737-700s are in storage in Belgium. Both aircraft are on the AOC of Belgian TUI subsidiary Jetairfly.

The second ECAir B757-200, also wet-leased from PrivatAir, has been in storage in Brussels since December 2015.
