African Air Expo postponed until Ebola Virus is safely contained

The President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama who is also Patron of the African Air Expo has announced that all events taking place in Ghana over the next three months will have to be postponed until West African countries have safely contained the Ebola Virus.

African Air Expo, due to be held on the 9-11th October 2014, will still go ahead but at a later date yet to be announced. 

A statement provided by the Ministry of Communication of Ghana said: 

“We apologise for this inconvenience. However trust that you understand that your safety is of utmost importance and concern for us. 

“We are currently trying to organise a new date for the event, taking into consideration the Aviation Event Calendar worldwide as well as the continued monitoring of the Ebola Virus situation.”
